Photos Alert: Deepika Padukone makes heads turn at MAMI 19th Film Festival
Deepika Padukone was today clicked at the MAMI 19th Mumbai Film Festival.
The 19th edition of the MAMI film festival came to a close on Thursday. The event was a star-studded affair with many Bollywood celebs in attendance. One of the top divas of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone was clicked by the paparazzi at the ceremony.
The actress looked like a million bucks in a parrot green outfit. She completed her look with earrings. She smiled and posed as she made a stylish entry at the event.
Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Kiran Rao, Konakana Sen Sharma and many others graced the event with their presence.
Recently, Deepika launched the biography of veteran actress Hema Malini in Mumbai. At the event, she revealed that she is just 12th pass and back then, her parents did have an issue with it. It was her sheer hard work that she has made that big in the industry.
She said, "To be honest, I don’t think it’s (being number one) something I have given too much thought to. Like Hemaji said, it’s more something that is given versus what you want or expect for yourself. The intention really is to do just good work. All of us are extremely passionate about our work. The constant endeavour is to work with challenging directors, learn and grow. Maybe somewhere along the way, success happens and tags that are given are given. It’s a very unique and an interesting place to be in. There are many sacrifices."
On the work front, Deepika is gearing up for Padmavati, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles. The movie helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
