PHOTOS: Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and their kids head for a vacation

Despite having a busy schedule, Akshay Kumar manages to take some time off to spend it with wife Twinkle Khanna and children Aarav Bhatia and Nitara Bhatia.

Today, the family of four was snapped at the Mumbai airport. They are headed for Christmas and New Year celebrations and will probably return to Mumbai on 3rd January.

Akshay sported a casual look and was seen wearing a grey tracksuit and sneakers. Twinkle, on the other hand, looked beautiful in a navy blue outfit. Twinkle was seen walking with her darling daughter.

Nitara looked cute as a button in a white tee and blue jeans. Aarav kept it casual cool in a black tee and trousers along with white sneakers.

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, when we asked Twinkle whether it was a deliberate decision to keep Nitara away from the limelight, she revealed, "I think she (Nitara) is very young and she should get her privacy. I don't really put up pictures of my son Aarav. I think that they are growing and if they come out with me for a movie or something and then if someone clicks pictures then I am ok. As parents, we try to keep them away from the limelight until they understand the consequences and learn to handle themselves."
 
Talking about Aarav, Twinkle added "He is a black belt and I think he'll continue it. I am very happy as I was a yellow belt while growing up and I was my dream to get a black belt but I have fulfilled it through other people in my family."

On the work front, Twinkle is producing Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, PadMan. Akshay Kumar's PadMan is a film inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in rural areas. The movie is all set to release next year on January 26, 2018.
