Photos: Akshay Kumar & family return from Switzerland after ringing in his 50th birthday

Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and their children Aarav and Nitara had flown out of the country to ring in Akshay’s 50^th birthday. Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and their son Aarav were clicked at the airport today as they returned to the bay from Switzerland. The Kumars were holidaying in the Swiss Alps since the last four days with family friends Gayatri and Vikas Oberoi. The family celebrated in the Switzerland as Akshay turned 50 yesterday. 

Akshay looked handsome in a black tshirt and military pants. He was flooded with birthday wishes from industry folks. He spoke to a leading daily on his birthday yesterday and said, “I’m really enjoying the fact that I have not only reached 50 alive, but also feeling positive about my career, blessed for my health and over the moon with how I’m spending my big 50 on the Swiss Alps with my family.”

Akshay is known to be a family man and has been a doting dad to children Aarav and Nitara. He added, “I’ve promised my son more adventurous holidays. I’ve promised my wife that I’d chew my food more. I’ve promised my daughter I’ll stay strong so I can carry her up every mountain her brother wants to climb, and I’ve promised my coach [that] I’m not going give up — turning 50 means 50 reps of everything, apparently!”
