Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has all the reasons to smile as his recently released film Gold has hit a GOLD at the Box Office. His latest outing has entered the Rs 100-crore club and continues to rule at the Box Office. Meanwhile, the actor had gone on a quick getaway with wife Twinkle Khanna. Akshay and Twinkle, as we all know, make for one of the coolest couples of the B-town. The two were spotted at the Mumbai airport and were at their casual best.

The couple was snapped by the shutterbugs in a happy mood. Akki was clicked in a sporty look while Twinkle made a simple yet comfy airport appearance in denim loose pants with a white top and a black jacket. A scarf and white sneakers rounded up her airport look in the simplest way. With Twinkle and Akshay hugely wrapped with their respective work, the couple made sure to spend some quality time together. Here are some lovely photos from their recent airport appearance: 

Talking about his film Gold, the film is directed by Reema Kagti. The film revolves around independent India's first Olympic gold win after attaining freedom from the British rule - a feat achieved by the Indian men's hockey team in 1948 at the 14th London Olympiad.  The Akshay Kumar starrer witnessed an ensemble cast including Mouni Roy, who plays Akshay aka Tapan's wife and actors Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh and Sunny Kaushal as hockey players.

The actor has quite a few interesting films in kitty including Good News, Housefull 4, 2.0 and Kesari.
