Photos: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan takes daughter Aaradhya for Ganpati Darshan
Aishwarya Rai visits GSB Seva Mandal for Ganpati darshan
It was only yesterday that we saw Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan at Mukesh Ambani’s Ganesh Chaturathi celebrations. The doting parents came with darling daughter Aaradhya in tow. Today, Aishwarya accompanied by her mother, Vrinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan came in for darshan at a pandal. Aishwarya and Aaradhya were colour coordinated as they sported lovely pink ethnic attire.
Aishwarya is a devout Ganpati bhakt; she is often clicked visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. Like Aishwarya, Aaradhya too knows the Ganpati aarti by heart. Aishwarya had said, “I actually enjoy the aarti myself. I feel it's such a beautiful song, so right from the beginning I would make Aaradhya listen to it very often in the evening. I tend to put on the aarti when we start lighting diyas in the house in the evening. So she enjoys it. For her, it's this absolutely enjoyable number. We all keep getting so many Ganpatis of all sizes. So I have this little mandir at home, where I have put all these Ganpatis. There are many small-sized Ganpatis in the mandir, which Aaradhya would play with since she was small in the mandir only." She added, “So Ganpati was always a familiar deity for her.”
There is no doubt that Aishwarya is a doting mother. She has always taken daughter Aaradhya with her on all of her international professional outings. In fact, Aaradhya used to accompany her on the sets of Jazbaa, Aishwarya’s comeback film. On the work front, Aishwarya is slated to begin filming her next Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Fanney Khan with Anil Kapoor soon.
