The Ambani family today hosted Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and who’s who of Bollywood attended the do. B-Town celebs turned up for darshan of Lord Ganpati. Spotted at the event were the Bachchans; Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan attended the celebrations with daughter Aaradhya. Abhishek Bachchan looked handsome in a yellow embroidered kurta, whereas Aishwarya donned a lovely peach anarkali. Daughter Aaradhya Bachchan looked pretty in a traditional pink outfit.

The two have been married for over a decade and have had a solid marriage. They are also doting parents to their little daughter Aaradhya. About husband Abhishek, Aishwarya had said, “He’s special because he’s himself. He’s a normal guy. When he walks into a room, he carries his lineage and his upbringing. It’s all out there in the obvious and yet you know he’s a guy in the room you can have a conversation with, you can hang out with, you can have fun with, you can have an intense conversation with. He’s someone who’ll have a straight face even as he jokes with you. He was born into showbiz and he has a lineage to carry. Despite all that there’s nothing showbiz about him. That’s the nicest part. He’s relatable and engaging as a person. And he’s my man, the father of my child.”

Aishwarya Rai is slated to begin work on Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Fanney Khan with Anil Kapoor and R. Madhavan. Abhishek Bachchan’s next will be with Prabhudeva. He has been signed on to play the lead in Lefty.
