Ahead of her concert in Mumbai, International singer Katy Perry arrived in the bay in the wee hours of the morning and in the photos, Katy looks gorgeous as ever as she is snapped wearing grey track pants with a cap. Well, what was interesting is that this Fireworks singer walked out of the airport holding her own luggage. As soon as Katy stepped out of the airport, we could see cops surrounding her for security purposes, and Katy straight headed to the car.

Well, this is not the first time that Katy Perry will be coming to India, for the singer got married back in 2010 to Russell Brands in Ranthambore after he proposed to her at Taj Mahal. But what is interesting is that this is the first time that Katy Perry will be performing in Mumbai at a music festival, and the concert will also see performances by Dua Lipa. Since this happens to be Katy Perry’s first concert in Mumbai, she had said that, “I am looking forward to seeing and signing with all of my Indian KatyCats.”

Besides, before her concert, it is being reported that filmmaker Karan Johar will be hosting a Bollywood bash at his residence to introduce Katy to his inner circle and friends from B-town such as Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora and others. Well, this is not the first time that Karan Johar will be hosting a Hollywood guest as in the past, KJo had thrown a bash for Will Smith and director Darren Aronofsky. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had hosted an after party at his residence when Coldplay had performed in Mumbai, and Bachchans had hosted Ed Sheeran prior to his Mumbai concert. In 2012, Katy Perry made a special appearance as she performed at the opening ceremony of IPL and this is her first ever concert in Mumbai. As for Katy, this singer recently released her newest single Harleys in Hawaii.
