Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra recently wrapped up the shooting of their period film, Kesari. Post the wrap up, the two were papped at the private airport as they made their way back. Take a look.
Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra will be seen together in one of the much awaited period films of 2019, Kesari. The movie is based on the Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897. The film also stars Randeep Hooda in a pivotal role. Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of Havildar Ishar Singh. The actor had taken to social media to announce the venture back in September and also revealed the first look of his character in the film.
Post that, today, the team of Kesari wrapped up their shooting schedule and also shared glimpses of the same on social media. Post the wrap-up, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra were snapped at the private airport in Mumbai. They both looked cheerful and were dressed casually. Akshay can be seen wearing a tracksuit with shades and a pair of sneakers while Parineeti can be seen wearing a loose blue jacket with a white tee, black jeans and white sneakers. She acknowledges the paparazzi and waved at them as well.

Kesari is being directed by Anurag Singh who is well-known for Punjabi films like Jatt & Juliet, Punjab 1984 and more. The movie is being produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Azure Entertainment and Zee. Kesari’s first looked revealed Akshay Kumar as a fierce Sikh warrior and it surely made heads turn. The movie is slated for release on March 21, 2019.
