Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan returned to Mumbai from Washington, D.C. after attending the WIFT Awards. Abhishek Bachchan, who was in Toronto for the TIFF premiere of his latest release Manmarziyaan, came to the airport to receive them.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was recently in Washington, D.C. to receive the inaugural Meryl Streep Award for excellence at the first Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India Awards. The actress was accompanied by the love of her life Aaradhya Bachchan who was by her mother's side as the actress accepted the honour and gave a heartfelt speech. After spending a few days in the USA, the mother-daughter duo returned back to the bay i.e. Mumbai, today, as the paparazzi clicked them.
Aishwarya and Aaradhya were seen walking hand in hand and were all smiles for the shutterbugs. Aishwarya kept it semi-formal in a blue striped blazer which she paired with a sheer white top and denim skinnies. Baby pink ballerinas with a bow attached on it, huge brown tinted sunglasses and a black purse completed her look to perfection. On the other hand, Aaradhya looked cute as a button in a pink floral printed frock which was paired with a sleeveless denim jacket and metallic copper sneakers. Check the pictures out:
Abhishek Bachchan, who was in Toronto for the TIFF premiere of his latest release Manmarziyaan, came to the airport to receive his wife and daughter. The actor was seen embracing Aaradhya who was ecstatic to reunite with her father.
A strong support system for his wife, Abhishek took to Twitter to share a photo of Aishwarya and Aaradhya embracing at the WIFT Awards and wrote a heartfelt tweet on the prestigious honour that the actress received. Bachchan Jr wrote, "And the Mrs. is awarded the Meryl Streep award for excellence at WIFT. The little one gives her a congratulatory hug, and I look on (to the photo) a very proud husband!"
Abhishek and Aishwarya will be reuniting on screen after almost a decade in Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun.
