Photos: Aamir Khan recovers from Swine Flu, gets clicked in the city

Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao were recently diagnosed with Swine Flu. The couple who were slated to attend Satyamev Jayate Water Cup, organised by the NGO Paani Foundation in Pune recently had to cancel. Since Aamir Khan had contracted Swine Flu, good friend Shahrukh Khan took his place at the event.

Aamir and Kiran had joined through Skype and expressed their disappointment over not being a part of the event, “It’s a happy day but we are very sad… because after working so hard for a year, when the time came for us to celebrate with you, we got this illness. And the disease we are suffering from is one which spreads rapidly. It’s called H1N1 or swine flu in common usage,” said Aamir.

It seems that Aamir Khan has now recovered from the disease as he was spotted out and about in the city.

On the professional front, Aamir Khan will be now seen in Secret Supestar alongside Dangal co-actor Zaira Wasim. About the film, Aamir had said, “This film and Dangal, both are based on the same topic – which is changing the attitude towards girls. Treating girls equally as we treat our boys. This is again based on empowerment of the girl child.”

Aamir’s last release, Dangal too has become a trendsetter in more ways than one. The biographical sports-film that starred Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles has garnered over 1,900 crores worldwide and is inching to a whopping 2,000 crore mark. Aamir is also currently working on Thugs of Hindostan with Fatima Sana Shaikh, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan.
