Aamir Khan is definitely the man with midas touch. He is basking in the success of his last release,Dangal that is inching towards a 2000 crore mark. The story of Mahavir Singh Phogat’s dedication and perseverance struck a chord with the audience. Aamir is also gearing up for the release of his next film,Secret Superstar. Perfectionist Khan was today snapped at nephew Imran Khan’s house in his Thugs of Hindostan look.
Imran Khan was last seen on the big screen in Nikhil Advani’s Katti Batti in 2015. The film did not fare well at the box-office. Imran has since then been missing in action. However, a source had earlier revealed, “Imran has finally chosen an offbeat film. He will be seen in Raj Singh’s directorial debut. The actor-turned-director had been looking to direct for a long time, and when he narrated his power-packed, and dark script to Imran, the latter instantly gave his nod to the movie. The film will start rolling in mid-year, and will be produced by Phantom Films. The makers are hunting for a female lead.”
Imran is said to be very close to his uncles, Aamir and Mansoor Khan. They are often spotted celebrating birthdays and festivals together. Imran Khan’s debut film, Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na was produced by Aamir Khan. Imran also worked in Delhi Belly which was also produced by Aamir Khan. He had said, “People have always assumed that Aamir advises me on movies. Do you think he told me to do Luck? He is a guy who believes in jumping into the pool if you want to learn swimming. Most of our conversations are not movie related. Out of my 12 movies, he has only seen three — Jaane Tu…, Delhi Belly, which are his own productions, and Katti Batti. I have never really had the courage to show my work to him because I know he will not have flattering things to say.”
