Sonam and Rhea have stood by their family like a rock and have been a pillar of strength for Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi. After the untimely demise of Sridevi, Sonam has been consoling Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. She also went to the airport to receive Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor who had brought back Sridevi’s mortal remains. In such testing times, Sonam has taken off of work and is with her family in the city.
At the funeral, Sonam was extremely emotional and had an outburst. A source told a leading daily, “The place was chaotic since the ground was brimming with fans and media persons. Despite police protection, many people tried their best to get into the ground. When Sonam walked in, people were pouncing on her, and she was finding it difficult to get into the crematorium, after which she lost her composure.”
