John Abraham and wife Priya Runchal gush over their pet-dog.
An ardent animal-lover John Abraham adopted a pup, Bailey earlier this year. The actor who always wanted a pet but could not due to his busy schedule, fulfilled his wish by adopting a pup who was rescued by an animal adoption agency.
Speaking about his pet, John had said, “Unfortunately, people mostly pick up pedigree pets because they look cute and are status symbols. We need to get that chip off our shoulder. If you really love animals, then get any animal as a pet, irrespective of the breed. Over the years John has been a part of campaigns for PETA and has been vocal about his association with many animal rescue and adoption agencies.
John and wife Priya Runchal welcomed Bailey in their life and John was said to be thrilled about it. “Please don’t call Bailey a stray! I love her deeply. I wouldn’t want her to be called a stray anymore as she’s part of my family now. She is very special.”John had said.
John and Priya are totally in love with Bailey and even have an Instagram account dedicated to her. Checkout this photo of them gushing over their pet-dog. John had said, “Being with Bailey has taught me that animals are far purer than the human race. We have a lot to learn from the animal kingdom. Getting Bailey into my life is a very private matter and the only reason I am talking about her is that people follow my example. It’s important to give strays that home.”
On the work front, John has wrapped up filming for Parmanu-The Story of Pokhran. The film will release in December this year.
