Priyanka Chopra is a globe-trotter; the talented actress was in Mumbai for a week after she wrapped up her Hollywood assignment. She has now left for Toronto with mom Madhu Chopra. Priyanka will be attending Toronto International Film Festival where her film ‘Pahuna’ will be screened. Priyanka has ventured into production and has been seen supporting regional films with a strong content.
“It is a very proud moment for me, my mother Dr Madhu Chopra and the entire team at Purple Pebble Pictures. This is only our fifth production and to have it chosen to be screened at TIFF is an honour. As a producer, my goal is to be able to bring great stories to life and to give new talent the right kind of platforms to launch their dreams.” Priyanka had said in a statement.
Priyanka looked pensive and thoughtful as she shared an in-flight selfie with her fans. Priyanka captioned it as, “So... where do we go from here... #traveler #nomadgirl”
On the work front, Priyanka has finalized two Bollywood projects but she is yet to make formal announcements about them. It is being reported that she has signed a film opposite Aamir Khan. Earlier this year, Priyanka had told a leading daily, “I will be doing two Bollywood films next year. I have come to India to decide on those films. By the end of January, I will finalise which those films will be”. We are definitely looking forward to seeing PC light up the silver screen again!
