PHOTO: Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim wrap the London schedule of The Sky is Pink
Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim star in Shonali Bose's directorial, The Sky is Pink and recently wrapped the London schedule of the film. Zaira took to Instagram to share a cuddly photo with Priyanka post the wrap.
It's been a few years since we saw our desi girl Priyanka Chopra in a Bollywood movie and finally, we get to see the actress make her comeback, of sorts, with The Sky is Pink. Directed by Shonali Bose of Margarita with a Straw (2014) fame, The Sky is Pink also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim and is based on the true story of the late Aisha Chaudhary. While Zaira will be seen as Aisha, Priyanka and Farhan play Aisha's parents in the movie.
Aisha was just 13 when she was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis but that did not stop the young girl from becoming a motivational speaker and authoring a book titled My Little Epiphanies. Priyanka, Farhan and Zaira first shot in Mumbai before heading to London for a schedule. For several days, many pictures surfaced of the co-stars shooting around the streets of London. Yesterday, the team finally wrapped the London schedule as Zaira took to Instagram to share a cuddly photo with Priyanka, who plays her on-screen mother in The Sky is Pink.
In the photo, Priyanka looks pretty in a black turtleneck top which she paired with black tights and red lips. Priyanka's hair is left open in loose curls. On the other hand, Zaira twins with PeeCee in a black full-sleeved tee which she paired with blue jeans, a grey scarf and a black and gold sling bag. Zaira's hair is left open in a sleek silky way. Meanwhile, Priyanka is currently in New York to spend quality time with her fiance Nick Jonas. In a recent interview, Priyanka spoke about how good friend Meghan Markle's pregnancy has left the actress with major baby fever.
