Katrina Kaif is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, Tiger Zinda Hai which will see her reunite on screen with Salman Khan after five years.

Despite such a hectic schedule, the actress manages some time to spend it with her family and friends.

Yesterday, the actress had a night out with her friends including Kabir Khan's wife Mini Mathur. Mini took to her Instagram page to share a collage from the dinner in which Katrina looks gorgeous in a red and black plaid shirt while her hair is styled in a middle-parted ponytail.

Mexican night out & catch up with these beautiful madcaps ... over fresh guacamole, tamarind, gin & jaggery drinks !! #saturdaynight

Mini's caption reads as, "Mexican night out & catch up with these beautiful madcaps ... over fresh guacamole, tamarind, gin & jaggery drinks !! #saturdaynight."

Speaking of Tiger Zinda Hai, the movie is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to the 2012 superhit movie Ek Tha Tiger which was then directed by Kabir Khan.

Meanwhile. Salman and Katrina will be reprising their characters Tiger and Zoya. When it comes to Katrina, as Zoya, is an elite intelligence agent, tackling hand-to-hand combats and adapting to a different set of mannerisms for her character.

Talking further about Katrina, Zafar elaborated, "In this film, Zoya plays a super spy. It was essential to understand how such agents think and operate. So, we got Katrina to train with real agents, used their expertise and experience."

The filmmaker continued, "For instance, as intelligence agents, you have to train a certain way to keep your mental balance in direst situations. Say you face someone who has a gun and you don’t. How do you still stay neutral and calm, and figure out the best possible way to counter and survive in such a situation. Katrina has really pushed herself for the part. She has also gone the extra mile to train in important nuances like aggressive hand-to-hand combat. The action that Katrina has done looks very real onscreen, despite being mounted on a grand scale."

Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to release on December 22, 2017.
