The 23rd edition of the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), India's second oldest film festival has already kick-started and today, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be inaugurating it. Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are a part of the ceremony. South India superstar Kamal Haasan has also marked his presence at the event.

The festival will see 143 films, by 135 directors from 53 countries, being screened across 12 venues in Kolkata.
Kajol looked drop dead gorgeous in the grey saree studded with golden work on it. The actress captioned the picture on Instagram, 'Kolkata film festival. Here we go!'.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in 102 Not Out and Brahmastra. Kajol will be reuniting with husband Ajay Devgn for Pradeep Sarkar's next. Kajol will be playing a single parent as the story revolves around a mother-son relationship.
