Deepika Padukone was snapped with her fans.
Deepika Padukone is quite busy promoting her upcoming film Padmavati. Between the promotions, the dimpled-actress was clicked cutting a cake with her fans in the city. Deepika looked quite delightful in the pictures.
The actress looked gorgeous in a white dress. The Om Shanti Om actress was all smiles as she cut the cake with her fans.
Talking about her film, in Padmavati, she plays the role of Rani Padmini. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Shahid Kapoor as MahaRawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.
This is Deepika's third film with Bhansali. She has previously worked with him in superhits - Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013) and Bajirao Mastani (2015).
In a recent interview, the Chennai Express actress talked about working with the Devdas director for the third time. Deepika had said, "It's one of the apprehensions people had when I said I was working with Bhansali for the third time around in a span of few years. Everyone had the same concern that you're going to work with the same director again and it will be the same kind of film, a historic period film. But I believe he is going to bring something new to the table everytime we collaborate because he is capable of portraying me so differently in three films."
Padmavati is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
After Padmavati, Deepika Padukone will work with her Piku co-star Irrfan Khan. The film, directed by Honey Trehan is a crime-thriller.
