PADMAVATI FIRST LOOK: Deepika Padukone’s Queen Padmavati avatar will leave you awestruck

Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the teaser of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati. Ever since the film’s lead cast Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor announced “Queen Padmavati will appear at sunrise” on their social media accounts, fans have been not been able to contain their excitement.

The poster of the film is finally OUT and it was definitely worth the wait. Deepika looks like a million bucks as she sports a unibrow. She looks majestic in the avatar of Queen Padmini. Deepika will be seen essaying the titular character in the film that will release in December.

Two posters have been launched by the team. Deepika can be seen adorning exquisite jewelry and her attire is absolutely stunning. Deepika looks jaw-droppingly stunning in her minimal make-up look. In one poster, Deepika is seen donning a red ghaghra-choli that has intricate handwork. Deepika looks every bit royal in the second poster.

This is Deepika’s third association with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali after Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani. Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Queen Padmini’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Deepika’s alleged boyfriend, Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of an antagonist, Alauddin Khijli who is mesmerized by her beauty.

These posters make the wait for the film’s teaser all the more difficult. The film will get a grand release on 1st December, 2017. Padmavati is one of the most anticipated films in Bollywood this year.
