The team of Padmavati released two posters of the film yesterday. Deepika Padukone’s look as Queen Padmini of Chittor was revealed. Deepika will be portraying the role of the brave queen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati.
Deepika can be seen donning ethnic attire and is sporting an intense look. Queen Padmini was said to be the symbol of beauty and courage. Tales of her beauty and sacrifice have become very popular.
Deepika can be seen nailing the look as Queen Padmini. Decked up in heavy traditional jewelry, she is seen with folded hands on the posters. She looks every bit regal in the posters of the film. Deepika is seen donning a red lehenga-choli that has intricate handwork on one poster, while she looks every bit royal in the second poster.
A source had told a leading daily, “We did thorough research on Rani Padmini — from the kind of outfits she wore to her makeup. Women back then used natural ingredients to enhance their beauty. Bhansali was certain that he wanted to retain the authenticity. So, Deepika used very little makeup for her role. It would take her 30 minutes to get ready”
Deepika looks like a million bucks as she sports a unibrow. She looks majestic in the avatar of Queen Padmini. Deepika truly justifies her persona, where she looks beautiful and fierce. We sure think that Deepika's look from the film resembles Queen Padmini. She definitely looks like the “Goddess Queen”
