PadMan screening: Rani Mukerji and Arjun Kapoor get chatty on the phone, Varun is all smiles for the paparazzi

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna today hosted a special screening of PadMan which saw many Bollywood celebs in attendance. Rani Mukerji, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor also arrived at the screening of Akshay Kumar’s film.

Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna today hosted a special screening of PadMan which saw many Bollywood celebs in attendance. Rani Mukerji, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor also arrived at the screening of Akshay Kumar’s film.

Rani looked beautiful in a blue outfit and kept her hair loose. Muted lips and dewy makeup rounded her look. She was busy on the phone as she arrived at the screening. Arjun was also busy on the phone as he arrived. He looked handsome in a military colored sweatshirt and denim.

On the other hand, Varun was all smiles as he got clicked by the shutterbugs. He was seen wearing a grey tee and denim which he teamed with a sweatshirt. 
Sridevi with daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, Kiran Rao, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sonali Bendre were among other celebs who attended the special screening.

For those who don't know, Rani Mukerji and Twinkle Khanna (Akshay's wife) are good friends in real life. In fact, Twinkle has even done the interior decoration for Rani's apartment in Juhu. 

Talking about Twinkle, Rani had said, "Twinkle and I have been friends for quite some time. I'm very fond of her, and she of me. Then she got busy with her work and family. But we picked up the threads of our old friendship quite effortlessly when I asked her to do up my apartment .’’

Varun had earlier revealed that he wishes to be as fit as Akshay when he grows old. "Akshay has tremendous fitness level. I wish when I grow that old, if I can be that fit, then it will be great." 

On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor will be stepping into the shoes of Akshay Kumar for the sequel of Namastey London and the actor recently said that he admires the superstar for his film choices. ‘’Akshay sir and I get along well and I respect him for what he has achieved and the work he is doing now,’’ he said.

Meanwhile, talking about PadMan, the film is inspired by the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in the rural area.

Apart from Akshay Kumar, PadMan also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. Directed by R Balki, the film is slated to hit the screens tomorrow.
