Padmaavat Deepika Padukone is all smiles with Grand Slam winner Roger Federer in this throwback photo

It's raining praises for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's latest outing Padmaavat. The film is being lauded by many all thanks to the amazing performances by the leads - Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Deepika, who plays the titular role in the film is overwhelmed with the response she has been receiving. The stunning actor is thanking many who congratulated her on social media.

On the other hand, a legendary sportsman is receiving a huge round of applause around the globe due to his iconic win at Australian Open. This is his 20th Grand Slam title.

What happens when talents of two different worlds come together? A picture perfect moment indeed!

Socialite Natasha Poonawalla took to her Instagram page and shared a picture of Roger and Deepika posing together at Met Gala after-party held last year.

She posted the picture saying, "People of the moment! National and International.. congratulations @deepikapadukone for Padmavat and @rogerfederer for creating Wimbledon history! #tbt #MetGala after party 2017"

Deepika replied to this photo on Twitter stating, "your crazy Nats!Love You! @NPoonawalla"

Interestingly, this is not the first meet of Roger and Deepika. Both played with each other at the inaugural International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) held in the year 2014 in the capital city. They played mixed doubles and were partnered with each other.
