Once Upon A Time In Hollywood: Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio talk how they bonded thanks to Quentin's film
In a recent interview, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio spoke about the bond that was created between the duo on the sets of Quentin Tarantino's ninth film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Quentin's film is slated to release on August 9, 2019, in India.
In a casting coup to be remembered for years to come, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio were roped in for a film together and it's none other than Quentin Tarantino, who achieved this massive feat. In the 90s, Brad and Leo were the upcoming handsome stars who proved their mettle as actors and while one is an Oscar winner, the other has been nominated as well, in the acting category. In Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Leo will be seen playing struggling actor Rick Dalton while Brad will be essaying Rick's stunt double, Cliff Booth.
In an interview with the New York Times, Brad and Leo spoke about the bond they worked upon to get their camaraderie right in Quentin's ninth film. When Leo was asked whether the duo hung out to develop a flow together for the movie, the actor shared that when you come to Hollywood, you are isolated and Rick and Cliff's friendship relied on that. Hence, as actors, the duo too fell into those shoes as they understood the relationship pretty quickly. On the other hand, Brad agreed with Leonardo and said that the equation was pretty automatic.
"There’s automatic comfort in having experienced the same thing in that way. That’s not a complaint in any way, I say that merely as a fact. We have mutual respect and I know when an actor elevates a scene, so we carry that respect," Brad added.
