Neetu Kapoor's tribute to late uncle Shashi Kapoor is heartwarming
Following Shashi Kapoor's demise, Neetu Kapoor shared a lovely picture of him on her Instagram account.
The much loved veteran actor Shashi Kapoor passed away after suffering a prolonged illness. The actor was 79 years old as he breathed his last, surrounded by loved ones. Naturally, B-town stars rushed to the Kapoor residence to pay their respects. Some near and dear ones also took to Twitter to express their sorrow.
Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to share a childhood picture of Shashi Kapoor, posing with his dad Prithviraj Kapoor. She wrote, "Shashi uncle with his father RIP."
Neetu Kapoor has worked with the late Shashi Kapoor in movies such as Deewar, Kabhie Kabhie, Doosra Aadmi, Kaala Pathar, and Shakar Dada among others.
Many other Bollywood stars also took to social media to express their condolences. Akshay Kumar wrote, "Innumerable Bollywood dreams came to life watching your iconic dialogue, "Mere paas maa hai." Your tremendous contribution to cinema will always be remembered. RIP #ShashiKapoor ji"
Simi Garewal shared, "Am deeply saddened by the passing away of my co-star #ShashiKapoor. The last of that generation of Kapoors gone. A gentleman and friend gone. An era gone.. All that remains are his films...and precious memories.. RIP Shashi-ji."
