Neetu Kapoor’s birthday wish for Rishi Kapoor was all about mother Krishna Raj Kapoor

Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of late legendary actor Raj Kapoor passed away in Mumbai today. She is a mother of 5 children - Randhir Kapoor, Ritu Kapoor Nanda, Rishi Kapoor, Rima Kapoor Jain and Rajiv Kapoor. Krishna ji, who was 87, took her last breath at 5 am. From the bond she shared it was very visible that she was a very strong woman and a vital member of the Kapoor Khandaan. She is grandmother to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain, Nikhil Nanda, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Natasha Nanda and Aadar Jain.

Actor Rishi Kapoor was very close to his mom but is currently in the US for some medical treatment. Last month, on his birthday on September 4, 2018, Rishi's wife Neetu Kapoor wished him on Instagram by sharing a beautiful throwback picture with Krishna Raj Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor wrote, "His love n devotion for his mother and God is unimaginable !!! He will have his mother n gods blessings always  Happy Birthday".

Krishna Raj Kapoor's eldest son Randhir Kapoor told PTI, "My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest... old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise." 

Actress Raveena Tandon took to her Twitter page to offer her prayers to Krishna ji. She shared, "Condolences to the entire Kapoor family. An era passes away,#KrishnaRajKapoor .God give you strength,and may the soul rest in peace.  Om Shanti. @chintskap."

Actor Anupam Kher also offered his respect and tweeted, "Deeply saddened to learn about the sad demise of Smt. #KrishnaRajKapoorJi. She was one of the most dignified and affectionate ladies that I met. May her soul rest in peace. My condolences to the entire Kapoor and Nanda family. Om Shanti."
