However, now it looks like Nargis has moved on from Uday and has found love in American director, Matt Alonzo. One of her Insta stories has her kissing Alonzo on his birthday. There is also a birthday post for him where the actress can be seen planting a kiss on his cheek wishing him a happy birthday.

Speculations of Nargis dating the American director sparked soon after she posted a picture with him on Christmas last year. In the photo, they were seen raising a toast while sitting in front of a Christmas tree. She had captioned the picture on Instagram stating, "‘Tis the season to enjoy sharing food, fun and festivities with loved ones ! Merry Christmas Everyone! #GreyGooseLife #merrychristmas."
Nargis dated Uday for a while and apparently intended to marry him but gossip insists that the actor rejected her proposal. Soon after, there came reports that Nargis had quit India and Bollywood due to heartbreak.
Later the actress rubbished all such claims in a statement. She took to her Instagram account and wrote, “Looking forward to finishing my assignment in the US and being back to start promoting #Banjo in the next few weeks. #noplanstoquit #hatersgonnahate #allthesearebaselessrumours.”
Later even Uday Chopra reacted to the rumours saying, “I normally don’t respond to gossip, but the press has been reporting a lot of fiction disguised as fact. I would just like to clarify that Nargis and I have been and still are very close friends. The press has done a wonderful job of creating stories out of thin air and I applaud their creativity. However these are all untrue.”
He even tweeted to Nargis saying, “Hey @NargisFakhri remember when I said I don’t respond to gossip. Well, I just broke that rule. Had to do it!”
