MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019: Avengers: Endgame star Tessa Thompson, Wonder Woman Gal Gadot & others turn heads

The pop lover in us was dancing to work today as the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019 winners were announced. From Avengers: Endgame to Game of Thrones and To All The Boys I've Loved Before, the movies, shows and Netflix originals that ruled over our hearts all year long were awarded big at the event. But before the awards were announced, stars took to the red carpet and the MTV Movie & TV Awards stage to blow everyone's mind with their fashion statements. 

We'll be honest, we couldn't take our eyes off Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot. The Israeli diva stunned in a blue pantsuit. The outfit featured a low-V neckline and a flowy fabric on the sides. She completed her look with the help of a black layered choker necklace, a sleek silver bracelet, earrings and a silver ring. Another head-turner was Avengers: Endgame and Men In Black: International star Tessa Thompson. The actress walked the red carpet wearing a shimmering silver coat-dress. Her hairdo stole the thunder from her dress. She walked the red carpet holding a box-like clutch. 

Meanwhile, Melissa McCarthy looked like a bawse-lady when she dazzled her way into the event. She kept the evening simple yet classy sporting a metallic jumpsuit. Another star who channeled the bawse-lady vibes was Jada Pinkett Smith. She looked in power when she stepped out wearing a silver suit matched with black heels for her day out at the awards show. As for the winners' list, Avengers: Endgame bagged three awards, including Best Hero, Best Villain and Best Movie. Captain Marvel won Best Fight, Lady Gaga took home the golden popcorn for her performance in A Star Is Born.
