Lucknow Central screening: Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Salim Khan and others attend

Farhan Akhtar and Diana Penty’s next, Lucknow Central is slated to hit the theatres on 15^th September. The makers hosted a screening for friends from the fraternity. Seen at the screening were Salim Khan, Helen, Ravi Kishen and Mini Mathur. The film's producer Nikkhil Advani was also seen at the preview. 

Farhan looked dashing in a white tee. He mingled with Ravi Kishen at the screening. Diana was seen sporting a black maxi dress. She was all smiles as she posed for the camera.

Lucknow Central will see Farhan playing a Bhojpuri prisoner who is passionate about music and Diana will be seen portraying the role of an NGO worker in the film. The film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy and Rajesh Sharma.

Speaking about her role in the film, Diana had said, “Playing a character that holds her own in a film that has some of the finest actors from our industry, makes it even more special for me.” Diana was last seen in Happy Bhaag Jayegi and has wrapped up Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran with John Abraham.

Farhan recently spoke about the need to have strong content in films. He had said in an interview to a leading daily, “Eventually, if the story is not good wherever it is set, be it a small town, big city or foreign locations, the film won’t work. If you want to be inspired from something or want to console yourself then the only thing is the age is of content driven films. A lot of stories are created on our people, be it in small towns or anywhere, but success is not guaranteed”
