Lokmat Maharashtra’s Most Stylish Awards 2017: Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra grace the event in style

Today, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra made a stylish appearance at the Lokmat Maharashtra’s Most Stylish Awards 2017. The prestigious awards are honored to the celebrities from the world of entertainment, fashion, business, Hindi and Marathi Film Industry. 

Alia looked amazingly beautiful in a cream outfit. The look was styled with Kundan studded earrings and hair worn in a ponytail. Sidharth, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black suit. The two hugged each other and smiled as they got clicked by the shutterbugs. 

Alia also received the Lokmat Maharashtra’s Most Stylish Next Gen Star Award.

Meanwhile, Alia recently wrapped shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Raazi. The movie which also stars Vicky Kaushal is based on Harinder Sikka's best-selling novel Calling Sehmat. Alia plays a Kashmiri woman who is also an Indian spy and is married to a Pakistani Army official. Raazi is slated to release on May 11, 2018. 

Talking about her role, she had earlier said, "I'm going through one of the most extensive preparations for this film. The last time I did something like this, was for Udta Punjab. But that also was only with the dialect. Raazi is about dialect, body language and things like driving a big heavy jeep... Shifting those gears is a different ball game for me altogether. I am learning Urdu so it's also going to help me in the longer run. I'm playing with the language for over a month now and every day, I am sitting with it for hours. I know most of my dialogues by heart right now because I have been reading them over and over again. I am having a lot of fun with it."

Alia will also be seen starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji'sBrahmastra. The movie is slated to release on August 15, 2019.

On the other hand, Sidharth’s Ittefaq released a few days back and the movie received a good response at the box-office. The movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles.

While talking to Pinkvilla, Sidharth spoke about his upcoming projects and confirmed being a part of Kargil Martyr Captain Vikram Batra's biopic. "In the next two months, I have Aiyaary coming up alongside Manoj Bajpayee, who is a fabulous actor. Then there is Vikram Batra's biopic. So, there are two films and there is another one which will be announced soon. So I am pretty excited about the lineup," Sid said.
