Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Deepika Padukone is all smiles as she heads to exercise her right to vote

Today, entire Maharashtra is voting in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 which are taking place in the state. Since morning many Bollywood celebs have been visiting the polling booths to cast their votes. Now, Deepika Padukone also reached the polling booth to exercise her right to vote. Deepika reached in the evening to cast her vote in Bandra. Earlier, Ranveer Singh also reached the polling booth with his father to cast his vote and also queued up like all other voters to exercise his right. 

Now, Deepika came in to vote and was all smiles before entering the polling booth. The Padmaavat actor was seen dressed in a white shirt with blue jeans and sneakers. Deepika teamed it up with a pair of sunglasses and her hair was tied up in a ponytail. As she was heading indoors, Deepika was snapped by the paparazzi. Many other stars including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and more visited the polling booths to cast their vote. After Deepika cast her vote, she came out and flaunted her inked finger with a smile.

On the professional front, Deepika has been busy shooting for her upcoming film, Chhapaak which is based on the life of the most known acid attack survivor in India, Laxmi Agarwal. Deepika has been shooting for the same in New Delhi along with co-star Vikrant Massey and director Meghna Gulzar. The film’s first schedule recently wrapped up and now, Deepika is shooting for the same in Mumbai. The first look of Deepika as Malti from Chhapaak left everyone surprised. Chhapaak is slated to release on January 10, 2020.
