Karan Johar’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji released in 1998. The film completed 20 years since its release and to celebrate this milestone, the makers hosted a celebration bash in Mumbai today. Besides the lead cast, Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Twinkle Khanna, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra attended it. Varun, Sidharth, Abhishek and Kareena talked about the film and Janhvi & Ishaan shared their memories about the film.
Stars were at their fashionable best on the red carpet. Kareena opted for a jersey dress by Balmain, Janhvi Kapoor stunned in a yellow outfit by Shehla Khan and Ananya Panday looked beautiful in a Monisha Jaising outfit. On the red carpet, Sidharth Malhtora was spotted taking blessings from Hiroo Johar. Sidharth bonded with Student of the Year co-star Varun Dhawan at the bash. Rani Mukerji and Varun Dhawan were spotted exchanging pleasantaries.
On the dias, Karan Johar interacted with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. They shared their experience of working in the film and shared many anecdotes from the film’s shoot. Rani and Kajol heaped praise on each other, whereas Shah Rukh Khan called some scenes creepy. While talking about the film, Karan mentioned his twins Yash and Roohi and shared photos of them in which they look cute as they wear jackets similar to what Shah Rukh Khan wore in the film.
The whole star cast of the film posed for a photo together. Farida Jalal, Sana Saeed, Archana Puran Singh joined Shah Rukh, Kajol and Rani on the stage.
