Kriti Sanon, Kiran Rao and Padma Lakshmi dazzle the red carpet at Vogue Women of the year awards

Vogue Women of the year awards were held today with all the gorgeous Bollywood actresses in attendance. Kriti Sanon, Kiran Rao and Padma Lakshmi dazzled the red carpet with their stunning outfits and beautiful smiles.  

While Kriti Sanon looked like a million bucks in a black gown with a high slit, Kiran Rao opted for a golden cream outfit and Padmalakshmi looked stunning in a red gown.

As you probably know by now, this year marks Vogue India’s 10th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone moment, Vogue is hosting the first ever Vogue Women Of The Year, an award ceremony that spotlights and celebrates all the strong, independent, fierce women (and men) who have broken glass ceilings.

On the professional front, Kriti Sanon was last seen in Bareily Ki Barfi, which did a decent performance at the box office. The movie also starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles. 

Kiran Rao, on the other hand, co-produced Secret Superstar with hubby Aamir Khan, Zee Studios and Akash Chawla. The film is slated to release this year during the Diwali weekend.

Talking about the plot of the film, Zaira plays a 14-year-old girl named Insia who desires to be a singer much to the chagrin of her dad. She then decides to make her own YouTube channel in which she posts videos of herself singing while covering her face in a burkha. She is then scouted by Aamir's character who is a music director and is impressed by Insia's musical gift.
