Krishna Raj Kapoor death: Gauri Khan and other celebs meet Kapoor family; Kareena Kapoor Khan sees them off

Kapoor matriarch Krishna Raj Kapoor breathed her last yesterday at 4.00 AM in Mumbai due to a cardiac arrest. Her last rites took place in Chembur and friends and family arrived at the RK house to pay their last respects. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam K Ahuja, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and others arrived to pay their final respects to Krishna Raj Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapooor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Armaan, Aadar Jain and other members of the Kapoor family were inconsolable. Krishna Raj Kapoor’s sons Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor performed the last rites.

Today, friends and family members continued to visit the Kapoors. Gauri Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Suneil Shetty with daughter Athiya Shetty, Kajal Anand with her mother, Karan Johar’s mother Hiroo Johar and others arrived to meet the bereaved family. Kareena Kapoor Khan has been by her father’s side in this time of grief and has been consoling him. Karisma Kapoor too was spotted at the RK Cottage. Kareena Kapoor was seen seeing off the guests who came to meet the Kapoor family.

Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor were not present for the last rites as they are in the United States for Rishi Kapoor’s medical treatment. Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt tried to connect with him through FaceTime so that he could be a part of his grandmother’s last rites, but the call could not get through to him.

Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni arrived from Delhi yesterday with husband Bharat Sahni. She was clicked at the RK house today with daughter Samara.
