Kesari: Akshay Kumar reveals the first poster of his much awaited film with his Kesari Brigade

We are all familiar with Akshay Kumar’s Punjabi connect. He has repeatedly played the role of a Sikh in several Bollywood movies and has aced each one of it. Be it playing a quirky Sikh in Singh is king or his love for Punjabi culture, the actor time and again has portrayed his love for his home state on the silver screen with finesse. This time too, he is set to shine on the screen essaying the role of the iconic Sikh in his venture with Dharma Productions in “Kesari.”
The film will be based on the Battle of Saragarhi in which 21 Sikhs fought valiantly 10,000 Afghans in 1897. To mark the occasion of Saragarhi day, Akki revealed the first look of the film through a poster on his Instagram account. He can be seen sporting a complete Kesari look along with brigade.
Kesari is an Indian period war movie that is set in the 1890’s. It stars Akshay Kumar & Parineeti Chopra as the leading stars along with others and is being produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Reliance Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release on 15th August 2019. With a fierce first look, the actor has left us all stunned and waiting for more!
