Katrina Kaif reunites with Abhay Deol on the sets of Zero; wishes him on his birthday
Katrina Kaif and Abhay Deol will be seen together in Aanand L. Rai's Zero. As Abhay turned a year older today, Katrina took to her Instagram Stories to wish her co-star and captioned it, "Mile dobara."
Katrina Kaif is currently immersed in the shooting of her upcoming movie, Zero, which is being helmed by Aanand L. Rai and also marks the onscreen reunion of the Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio - Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina and Anushka Sharma.
Joining the cast recently is Katrina's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) co-star Abhay Deol who will be having an extended guest appearance in the movie.
As Abhay celebrates his birthday today and was on the sets of Zero, Katrina, who was at the shoot with him, shared a cute birthday selfie as her Instagram story. In the photo, the duo is seen adorably posing together in front of a birthday cake and while Katrina wished him a Happy Birthday, she also captioned the image as "Mile dobara."

Meanwhile, speaking of Abhay's character in Zero, the actor will be playing Katrina's love interest. According to a popular daily, Katrina plays an actress who is going through a heartbreak, courtesy of Abhay.
A source revealed to the daily, "Abhay plays the boyfriend who dumps Katrina in the film. He will shoot most of his scenes with her. Even though it’s a cameo, he agreed to do it instantly because of his relationship with Aanandji, with whom he has had successful collaborations like Raanjhanaa (2013) and Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016)."
While Shah Rukh will be seen essaying the role of a vertically challenged man in Zero, Katrina and Anushka will also be playing interesting characters.
A source had told a leading daily, "While everyone thinks that only Shah Rukh Khan has a special role in the film, they will be surprised to know that Anushka and Katrina's characters also face various challenges. While everyone knows Katrina plays a diva, nobody knows that she is also an alcoholic in the film. She battles with alcoholism, which affects her life in various ways. Anushka, on the other hand, plays a struggling scientist. The makers are trying to keep these details a secret because they don't want to give out too much information."
Zero is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
