Samaira Kapur celebrated her 13th birthday today and parents Karisma and Sunjay threw a bash for her. Sunjay posed with Samaira and the father-daughter duo were all smiles. Karisma Kapoor shared a heartfelt post for daughter and shared a childhood photo.
Karisma Kapoor and ex-husband Sunjay Kapur were granted divorce by mutual consent after a long and acrimonious legal battle in 2016. The ex-couple were married for almost 13 years and have been blessed with children Samaira and Kiaan Raj. Karisma has been given the custody of their kids, whereas Sunjay Kapur has been granted visitation rights.
The ex-couple have moved on since then; Sunjay tied the knot with Priya Sachdev and Karisma Kapoor is allegedly in a committed relationship with Sandeep Toshniwal.
The ex-couple are now cordial with each other and as a family came together to celebrate Samaira’s birthday today. About daughter Samaira, Karisma had said in an earlier interview, “My daughter Samaira is my biggest fashion critic. (Laughs) When I dress up for events, if she doesn’t like what I’m wearing, she will be like, ‘Mom, change these shoes. I really don’t like it.’ She has great fashion sense and she completely participates in everything.”
Karisma Kapoor attended a conclave with sister Kareena Kapoor Khan yesterday and talked about the importance of her children in her life. She said that her family and children are the most important to her in life.
