Kareena Kapoor Khan looks elegant as she inaugurates the Bangalore International Film Festival, see PICS

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently in Bengaluru where she is attending the Bangalore International Film Festival. 

The gorgeous actor inaugurated the event and looked ravishing in a black saree with pink and red borders which she teamed with T-Shirt style blouse. She rounded her look with a black bindi and dangling diamond earrings. 

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was also present at the film festival. Bebo greeted him and even waved out to her fans at the event. She was all smiles as she got clicked by the paparazzi.

The festival will showcase 200 films from 50 different countries, across Bengaluru and Mysore. Along with Kareena and Karnataka CM, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Iranian actor Fatemeh Motamed-Arya and international producer-cinematographer Marc Baschet are invited as chief guests at the event. 

The festival is being organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra (Film) Academy for Government of Karnataka.

This year, the festival will reportedly pay homages to legendary filmmakers and cinema personalities like Parvathamma Rajkumar, RN Sudarshan, Kashinath, K Chandrashekar, Krishna Kumari and Shashi Kapoor.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actror will next be seen in Veere Di Wedding. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas. 

Earlier, when Pinkvilla asked Kareena about Veere Di Wedding, the actress had revealed, "Yeah! It is my wedding in the movie and it will be different. Rhea is going to style me. It will be stylish. And with Sonam - the fashionista in the movie, I surely cannot wear my jeans and t-shirt. Or you never know, I may convince her to come out of her ball gowns and wear jeans and t-shirt. You all should wait and watch (laughs)."
 
Veere Di Wedding is slated to release on June 1, 2018.
