Karan Johar shares a photo of BFFs Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor from Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta's engagement

Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani got engaged to Shloka Mehta yesterday. The engagement ceremony saw the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Karan Johar and others attended the ceremony.

Alia Bhatt shared a photo with Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji and mentor Karan Johar from the engagement ceremony and captioned it, ‘With  my favorite men’. Alia is working with Ayan Mukerji for the first time in Brahmastra. The film is the first of the trilogy that has been planned by the director.

Karan Johar shared a photo of Ayan and Ranbir from the engagement ceremony of Shloka and Akash and captioned the photo, “Baraat Bros’.

Ranbir looks dapper in a Rohit Bal striped kurta-payjama and Ayan looks handsome in a black sherwani. Check out the photo here:

Ranbir Kapoor has worked with Ayan in his directorial debut Wake up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. They are best friends; Ranbir had said in an interaction with his fans on Twitter that Ayan Mukerji is the friend he looks upto for anything and everything in life.

Ranbir will again collaborate with Ayan in Brahmastra. They have wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Bulgaria earlier this year. The team will be heading to Bulgaria again next month to shoot the next schedule.

Ranbir Kapoor’s film Sanju released to positive reviews today. The audience is blown away by Ranbir’s terrific performance as Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju.
