Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's Mehendi function was held today. The couple will tie the knot on May 8, 2018. The Kapoor and Ahuja families released an official statement of their marriage that reads, " The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives."
For the Mehendi function, family members to celebs like Sanjay Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Karan Johar and others were present.
During the Mehendi ceremony, Karan Johar posed with the Kapoor girls - Janhvi, Khushi, Anshula Shanaya along with Sanjay Kapoor and family.

The duo will be getting married at the Kapoor mansion in Bandra which is already decked up for the wedding.
All Sonam fans wanted to know that which designers Sonam has opted for her wedding. There have been names floating around. Now, the rumours can rest in peace as the actress has herself revealed the names to Harper's Bazaar Bride.
When asked about the designers she has opted for, she said, "I'm wearing the three 'A's for my wedding - Abu-Jani Sandeep Khosla, Anamika Khanna and Anuradha Vakil."
Sonam and Anand’s families will host a ‘Party’ which will see their family members performing. This will take place at Sonam’s close friend Samyukta Nair’s hotel The Leela in Mumbai. The dress code for the party is Indian or Western formals.
Their wedding invitation card categorically mentions, ‘Your presence on our special day is the only gift we desire.’
