Karan Johar, John Abraham and other celebs arrive at the pre-engagement party of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani hosted a pre-engagement get-together at their residence today for son Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. Akash Ambani formally proposed to girlfriend Shloka in Goa in the presence of their families over the weekend. The couple will tie the knot in December in Mumbai.

The who’s who of Bollywood attended the pre-engagement party today. Karan Johar, Kiran Rao, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Harbhajan Singh, John Abraham, Natasha Poonawalla and many others made a glamorous appearance at the bash. 

Karan looked handsome as ever in a black suit. He completed his look with cool sunglasses. On the other hand, Kiran Rao looked beautiful in a white outfit which she teamed with a yellow blazer. She styled her look with red lipstick and beautiful earrings.

Natasha Poonawalla arrived at the party with husband Adar Poonawalla. She looked beautiful in a floral outfit. Dewy makeup and high heels accentuated her look. Adar, on the other hand, looked dapper in a blue suit. The couple looked adorable as they arrived together for the party.

Harbhajan opted for a kurta and matching pyjamas. He was all smiles as he got clicked by the paparazzi. John looked dapper in a checkered shirt and denim. He styled his look with white sneakers.

Akash and Shloka are childhood sweethearts and studied together at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Shloka Mehta is the youngest daughter of Mona Mehta and Russell Mehta. The Mehta couple owns and runs Rosy Blue Diamonds and also hail from Gujarat.

Nita Ambani told a leading daily, “Mukesh and I have given very strong foundation to our kids and even larger wings to fly - they have the freedom to take decisions for themselves and of course, choose whom they would want to spend the rest of their lives with. Marrying the one you love is gratifying and heart-warming. I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our hearts."
