Kangana Ranaut aces the Manikarnika look in this picture from the photo shoot

Kangana Ranaut's first look from Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi was both fierce and captivating, and as time passes by, we've all begun to love her portrayal in the film. At the trailer launch too, Kangana looked surreal and yet captivating. Kangana and team wrapped up the shoot long time back, and the film is slated to release on January 25, 2019. It is undoubtedly one of the most-awaited films of 2019, and from the looks of the trailer, everyone is looking forward to her portrayal in the film. The film will also mark the Bollywood debut of Ankita Lokhande, who plays Jhalkari bai in the film.

Pictures from her photo shoot have come in, and she has totally aced the Manikarnika look, to say the least. While Kangana's fashion escapades with the saree have always been impressive, this time around, as she dons the Manikarnika look, she makes for the perfect warrior princess. Dressed by none other than designer Neeta Lulla, Kangana's photo shoot for the poster look indeed uncanny. Check out the pictures here:

Kangana has also directed many parts of the film and talking about the same, she said "This is not my first experience as far as supervising the edit or even directing a film is concerned. I was 23 or 24, when I directed my first film. It was a 10 minute short film that I had shot with an international crew. Also at that time, I was struggling with small roles in films like Double Dhamaal (2011). So I've been a director since then. Be it direction, writing or editing, I've already done it in the past."
