Kalank: Varun Dhawan shoots bare chested in Kargil in minus three degree temperature
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are shooting for Kalank in Kargil. The film is being helmed by Abhishek Varman.
Varun Dhawan is currently in Kargil shooting for Abhishek Varman's period drama Kalank. The team has been shooting for the film from the last few months in Mumbai. A few days ago, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt headed to Kargil to shoot for the next schedule. The film also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Varun recently shot for a scene in Kargil when it snowed there and the temperature came down to minus three-degree Celsius. The actor shot bare-chested for this scene and also shared the picture on his Instagram page where he even flaunts his abs.
The actor captioned the photo, "#KALANK- was in for a huge surprise when it began to snow in Kargil. I have been training for a while but I was not sure how I would shoot bare body with the temperatures reaching -3 degrees. @prashantsixpack was by my side. God is great I managed to complete the scene rest is cinema history. Also Kargil is sooo dam beautiful." While shooting for the film from last few months, Varun has also been working out hard in the gym to build the beefed up physique.

In Kalank, actress Madhuri Dixit will be seen as a courtesan. She and Sanjay Dutt will be sharing the screen space after almost two decades. Kalank also marks Varun and Alia's third film together after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Varun was last seen in Sharat Katariya's film Sui Dhaaga: Made in India. Anushka Sharma played the female lead role in the film. Sui Dhaaga received positive reviews and also impressed the audience and it is one of the hits of 2018.
