Kalank: Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt head to Gwalior; completely nail their airport looks

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan started their careers with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year. After SOTY, the two starred in movies like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Currently, the two are shooting for their fourth movie together titled Kalank. Today, the two were seen leaving for Gwalior. They were clicked at the Mumbai airport. Varun looked dapper in a biker jacket, denim and blue tee, while Alia was seen wearing a grey coloured sweatshirt with denim.
Both waved to the shutterbugs who were stationed outside the airport. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, the film also stars, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Kalank is slated to release on April 19, 2019. Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani will be making special appearances in the film. The film’s plot is set in the 1940s and it has been shot on a grand scale. The magnum opus has been shot in Mumbai, Indore, Kashmir and Hyderabad.

About working with Varun Dhawan on Kalank, Alia told Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, and Varun and I are working very hard on set. And though he is fabulous, he’s troubling me as always.”
About teaming up with Alia again for Kalank, Varun had earlier told Hindustan Times, “It was important for us to choose the right film to come back as a pair. People expect a lot from us. Kalank is very special for Karan’s production house, as it has been in the making since 2004. I don’t want to say too much, as the director is quite secretive that way.”
