Kajol is a doting mother to kids - Nysa and Yug. On keeping her kids out of media glare, she had told a leading news agency, "Ajay and I consciously chose to keep kids away from media. Keeping them away from the spotlight at large is an attempt to give the children their space where they are not bogged down by any kind of pressure."

Kajol has started shooting for her film Eela in the city. She is teaming up with filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar for the first time and the film is produced by her husband Ajay Devgn.

Talking about the movie being called as her comeback film, Kajol had stated to a leading daily, "I’ve had so many of these ‘comebacks’, I’m now like the ‘comeback queen’! I am like a bad penny, I just keep coming back (laughs)."

She further said, "I liked the script honestly, liked the lines, everything. I like my character of Eela (a single mother), I identify with many of her things."

Moreover, Kajol is all set to have her very own wax figure in Madame Tussauds, Singapore. When asked about the same, Kajol had said, "Oh My God! Really? After the initial euphoria, I realised that it was a big honour to be featured alongside such figures. Being compared to some of them is too much. It’s a pleasure."
