It's Karan Johar's mother Hiroo Johar's 75th birthday today. The ace filmmaker hosted a birthday bash today where he invited his close friends from the industry. Moreover, Sonu Nigam was also a star performer at the party.
One of the guests at the bash was Karan's closest friend Kajol. The talented actor took to her Instagram story and shared a candid click of Karan holding his son Yash Johar in his arms while talking to Hiroo Johar. Also caught in the photo was the beautiful birthday cake for KJo's mom.

Talking about the bash, a source had earlier said, "He will be hosting a brunch at a 5-star on Sunday and plans to decorate the venue as well as their residence with different kinds of flowers as his mother is fond of flowers."
The source further added, "The menu at the party will comprise of the best of Chinese and Indian cuisine. Karan is also planning a surprise for the cake-cutting ceremony beside shopping for presents."
The guest list for the party includes Waheeda Rehman, Neetu Kapoor, Gauri Khan, Jaya Bachchan along with Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Varun Dhawan's mother Lali Dhawan, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor among others.
After burying the hatchet, many expected Kajol to be a part of Karan's twins Roohi and Yash's first birthday bash. But due to her tight schedule, as Kajol is shooting for Eela in the city, she gave the party a miss.
Kajol and Karan had buried the hatchet a few months ago. Last year, Kajol had extended an olive branch to Karan and invited him for her birthday lunch. Kajol had also ‘liked’ a photo of Karan’s children Yash and Roohi, shared by Karan on his social media account. Karan in-turn had started ‘following’ Kajol giving confirmation to the rumours of their patch-up.
