Kajol keeps it classy as she promotes Helicopter Eela

The paparazzi clicked Kajol in Mumbai today. Kajol will be next seen in the film Helicopter Eela. The actress will be playing the role of a single mother and an aspiring singer in the film. Actor Riddhi Sen will be essaying her son's role in the film. The trailer of the film was out on Kajol's birthday on August 5, 2018. In the film, Kajol's character Eela is an over-possessive and overprotective mother who stalks her son and even joins his college to complete her education. The film has a good element of humour, love, emotions and drama. Two songs from the film are also out. 

Today, Kajol stepped out for the promotions and interviews of her upcoming film. The actress looked gorgeous in a white jumpsuit with black stripes on it. She tied her in a beautiful braid and rounded her look with a beautiful silver neckpiece. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, when Kajol was asked why did she choose to do Helicopter Eela, she said that she loved the concept and the fact that it shows the relationship between a single mother and her son. Kajol also said that the character she is playing in the film is relatable.

The actress was also asked why the film is called Helicopter Eela and she revealed that Helicopter Eela comes from the hashtag helicopter mom which is about Indian mother who have always been over possessive and stalkerish.

Kajol's Helicopter Eela is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and it is produced by Ajay Devgn. The film will hit the theatres on September 7, 2018.
