Janhvi Kapoor visits Karan Johar at his residence, view PICS

Janhvi Kapoor who will make his debut in Karan Johar’s Dhadak, visited the director-producer at his residence today after he returned from London this morning. Janhvi will be debuting in Bollywood with Shashank Khaitan’s directorial which is the remake of the Marathi super-hit film, Sairat. Janhvi is working with Ishaan Khatter in the film.

Janhvi was clicked exiting Karan Johar’s residence and looked pretty in ethnic wear. Janhvi seemed busy on the phone as she made her way out of Karan’s residence in her car.

Janhvi has resumed the shoot of Dhadak and the film will release on July 20, 2018. After Sridevi’s demise, it was reported that Janhvi will take a break. But, she resumed work to keep the release date of the film.

Karan Johar has informed the team to take it easy on Janhvi as she copes with the monumental loss. “Karan was close to Sridevi; he is also close to Janhvi now. He understands that she will not be in a position to work for a while. He has even instructed the team to take it easy with her. Having said that, Karan wants it to be a film that Sridevi would have been very proud of,” a source had then informed a leading daily.

On his radio show, Karan had read out a note, in which he had given advice to Janhvi and Ishaan. The message read, “Dear Janhvi and Ishaan, you are going to embark on a new journey of stardom this year. You will face many firsts in 2018 from promotion to paparazzi to link-ups and trolling to fame and failures. You are going to see it all. Through all of this, I just want to remind you to not take yourself too seriously and absorb every new experience because these initial days will never come back again. Janhvi, Ishaan, your best qualities are that you all are still students.”
