Janhvi has resumed the shoot of Dhadak, which is the remake of the Marathi super-hit film, Sairat. It was being reported that Janhvi will be taking a break after the unfortunate demise of Sridevi, however she started shooting for the film to keep up the release date. Janhvi and Ishaan are spotted by the shutterbugs shooting for the film in the city.
Janhvi and Ishaan have wrapped up the schedules in Kolkata and Rajasthan. The film is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
About working with Janhvi and Ishaan, director Shashank Khaitan had said in an interview, “They (star kids) do not come with burden, they are far more relaxed and chilled out. For me, even when I was working with Varun and Alia, I was working with two new actors and they never treated me as someone from outside the film industry. And I have never treated them as someone from the industry. Same thing over here, with Janhvi and Ishaan I am their director and they are my actors.”
The posters of the film were released earlier this year and both Janhvi and Ishaan look amazing in them. Shashank had then said, “It wasn’t tough to get the poster look for the film as we were sticking to the story that we have written and the world that we have created. Even the idea of the poster was to remain as honest as possible to the film that we want to make.”
