Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram Stories to share a beautiful sketch of her late mother and veteran actress Sridevi and father Boney Kapoor. Recently, the Kapoor family attended the National Film Awards to accept the Best Actress honour on behalf of Sridevi.
Sridevi, the legendary actress and a perfect mother to her daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, passed away on February 24, 2018, owing to accidental drowning in her hotel bathtub, in Dubai.
The loss is irreplaceable for the Kapoor family and no one has been more affected than her husband Boney Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi.
However, the era of Sridevi lives on in Janhvi, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter.
Remembering her mother on Instagram Stories, Janhvi shared a sketch of her parents Sridevi and Boney. The photo sketch was of the couple looking into each other's eyes lovingly as they were clicked by the paparazzi at the airport.

Meanwhile, Boney along with Janhvi and Khushi attended the National Film Awards, this year, as Sridevi was posthumously bestowed with the Best Actress Award for Mom. The award was accepted on behalf of the late actress by her family.
Talking about the honour her mother received, Janhvi said, "I think both of us (Khushi and I) would like to thank the jury for recognizing the hard work, perseverance and dedication that my mother has put into this role. It was very special to her and we are very happy that she is being appreciated for it."
On the other hand, a statement by the Kapoor family reads as, "We are overjoyed to know that the Jury has conferred the Best Actor Award to Sridevi for her performance in Mom. It’s a very special moment for all of us. She was always a perfectionist and it showed in all the 300 plus films she did. She was not just a super actor but a Super Wife and a Super Mom. Its time to celebrate her life and her achievements. She is not with us today but her legacy will always live on.
