Janhvi Kapoor looks gorgeous in a saree at the post-dinner party of National Film Awards

Yesterday, Janhvi Kapoor along with Boney Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor had gone to Vigyan Bhavan to receive Sridevi's National Film Award in the Best Actress category.

For the award ceremony, Janhvi Kapoor wore Sridevi's saree and looked like a spitting image of her mother. Designer Manish Malhotra shared on his Instagram page, "The very pretty @janhvikapoor as she goes to Receive Sridevi Ma’am’s Much Deserved National Award for her fabulous performance in Mom’ ... An Actress and a human being and the friend that we all miss every day of our life’s ... #jhanvikapoor in her Mom s personel Saree for this emotional and precious moment ..".

Boney, Janhvi and Khushi went on the stage to receive Sridevi's award from the President. At the venue, Janhvi stood by her dad as a pillar of strength as he broke down when Sridevi was honoured.

Post the award ceremony, the Kapoors had gone for the post-dinner celebration with the other winners. For the same, Janhvi Kapoor wore a golden-red silk saree. She looked gorgeous in this saree too.

Today, Janvhi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor returned to Mumbai from the capital city. 

The Kapoors are still coping up with Sridevi's untimely death. The actor passed away due to accidental drowning on February 24, 2018, in the bathroom of her Dubai hotel's room.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor will be making her debut with Ishaan Khatter in the film Dhadak. The film is a remake of Marathi film Sairat which was directed by Nagraj Manjule.

Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan and is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
